These slices can be treated with up to eight different effects. Once you’ve loaded an audio loop, Momentum will automatically cut it into slices that will be mapped to individual MIDI notes. Every audio file, be it a one-shot sample or a loop, will be assigned to an audio channel with adjustable volume, pan, and pitch parameters. Momentum can load multiple audio files simultaneously. That said, the built-in browser on the left side of the interface can be used for browsing your existing Big Fish Audio products and purchasing additional libraries. It is fully compatible with third-party loops, and you’re not forced into purchasing any Big Fish Audio sample libraries as a pre-requisite for using the software. The plugin can load any existing WAV files on your hard drive. So, let’s start with Momentum’s most important feature.
